Organiser's Comments

I hope you all enjoyed Coombe Hill South its a nice little area. The only issue we have really is parking - the farm is quite accommodating but can only provide the field in good weather which we had. Because of this we had to limit entries based on what we could park potentially park around the farm. The proximity to Chequers and the nature of Missenden Road means that there is no possible overflow.

We tried to work with people where possible to account for them once we closed entries early. In the end we got a few extra vehicles on where we had arranged an alternative. Even so we did use all the parking available so were correct to have a limit in place. There are plans in the works for an increased farmshop / cafe and mountain bike workshop. Hopefully that may possibly mean more parking for us in the future.

I'm indebted to all the helpers on the day as assembly, parking and starts pretty much ran themselves without any involvement from myself. A big thank you to Robin Bishop who managed the entries for the event. This got a lot more complicated and became a manual process when were were trying to deal with requests once the parking was full and we only allowed entries via invite. I must also thank Andrew Chalmers for his map and the groundworks for this event - gaining permissions from the Chequers Estate and police.
