Summer Series

The summer series takes place on Tuesday evenings.

The events are a mix of urban/semi-urban MapRun-enabled events with road crossings and forest events, where it can get dark quickly. The events are not suitable for Under 16s. The forest events are full technical difficulty and recommended for more experienced orienteers only. The urban/MapRun events are more suitable for beginners.

Please use the signup sheet here if you plan to come. This document has a separate signup tab for each event. So that we can print the correct number of maps, signup by Sunday evening is recommended.

We run an informal league with the following scoring system. Your score is the sum of your lowest N/2 positions, where N is the number of events so far. If you organise an event, you score zero. If you don’t attend an event, you are scored as if you came last.
