Wow, just wow – our juniors were fantastic. Everyone did brilliantly and we were able to capitalise on mistakes made by the other teams. We had no mispunches and no retirements. Half of our team of sixteen juniors hadn’t even competed in a YBT event before the weekend. We had strength and depth across all of the YBT classes, with a special mention going to our Orange course boys who got a 1-2-3!

Thank you so much to all the juniors who participated on Sunday and to parents who brought them along and supported us.

The YBT Final will be happening on Sunday 9th July in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, so please put this date in your diaries! Doncaster is quite a distance away, so we will need to think about transport, and other details will follow, but the initial event page can be found at https://www.southyorkshireorienteers.org.uk/events/event/900-yvette-baker-trophy-final

Thanks for your support.
