The British ladies team took a stunning victory in the relay event at JWOC in Denmark. More details here.
The British team consisted of Megan Keith (INVOC), Fiona Bunn (TVOC) and Grace Molloy (FVO), in one of the best results by a British team.
So what is JWOC? It’s the Junior World Orienteering Championships. Junior because it is for those aged 17 to 20. So this is a World Championship, for top up-and-coming orienteers. Just making the British squad is a fantastic achievement. But to beat the best juniors from the rest of the world is, well, virtually unheard of.
Well done Fiona, and well done all.
