This Saturday Series event is combined with a SCOA League (Level C, Regional) orienteering event. As a result, there will be a wider choice of courses available, and more facilities than are usually provided at a Saturday Series event. This includes toilets, catering and and an external First Aid provider. If you have only attended Saturday Series events before, you will find this an interesting event to attend as it introduces you to larger orienteering events, with more competitors, more controls in the woods, and more formal Starts. You also have the opportunity for your result to contribute to the local region's South Central Orienteering League. However, the event overall will still feel very familiar to the Saturday Series. Like all TVOC Saturday Series events, the Green, Light Green, Red, Orange and Yellow courses will be part of the Thames Valley Junior League. Therefore, any junior who enters one of these specific courses as an individual and who successfully completes the course on their own (or in a junior pair on the Yellow course only, or who is shadowed by a parent/carer on the Yellow or Orange courses only) will be automatically included in the Junior League results. Full details and League rules can be found on the Junior League web page.
