TVOC Entry T&Cs

Welcome to the inaugural Oxford Town v Gown race!

This is a closed race, principally open to TVOC members and those associated with Oxford University. Please declare whether you’re racing for Town or Gown on the entry!

Entry: Online entries only, via racesignup HERE. Entry is £4. Entrants must be 18+ due to college safeguarding rules.

Start Times: 18.00 – 19.00. Courses close at 19.45 sharp! Course is approx. 5km, please pick a stat time to ensure you finish before course close.

Race Format: MapRun/SI hybrid event so bring you phone/watch and dibber! Double sided map with two different scales, 1:4,000 and 1:2,000.

Assembly: Assembly will be in the Harris Seminar Room at Oriel College, OX1 4EW. Entry will not be through the lodge, instead please head towards 10 King Edward Street (///:inner.hush.hang) where you will find a marshal who will let you into the grounds. Follow the signs directly to assembly (about 20 metres) and do not look around as you will be inside the course area! Assembly is open from 5:15pm, if you get there early we won’t be there to let you in!

Enquiries, dibber collection, download and a bag drop can all be found at assembly. There are toilets available nearby within the college.

Orienteering is an adventure sport. All competitors take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety.

Please check website for last minute cancellation in case of inclement weather. In the event of cancellation some or all of your entry fee may be retained.
