A MapRun-enabled score event in Didcot. Organiser: Roger Thetford.

Assembly: The Ladygrove, Cow Lane, Didcot OX11 7SZ. Plenty of parking behind the pub. Walking distance (about 600m) from Didcot rail station.

Starts 18:30 – 19:30.

Courses: Long (60 minute score) and Short (50 minute score, with a denser set of controls). The Long course counts for the A league and the Short course for the B league. If no-one signs up for the B league at this event, it will be discontinued.

Event cost £3, cash only.

Due to it being an urban event, participants must be aged 16 or over.

The event is now available for download in the MapRun app. Go to the folder UK/Thames Valley/TVSS and select one of the two Didcot24 events, paying close attention to whether the name ends ScoreW60 (the 60-minute event for the A league) or ScoreW50 (the 50-minute event for the B league). Note that the courses are password protected until after the event — the passcodes will be available at the pub.

Paper maps will be used, so if you do not have the MapRun app you may still take part using `honesty punching’ and a watch.

To ensure map availability please register, ideally by Monday evening (6th May) before the event.
