Easy access from Wendover to the North via Cholesbury.
Registration: from 6:45pm to 7:15pm. Start about 7:20pm.
Terrain: Captain’s Wood is a long sliver of wood on one side of the attractive Asheridge Vale and is no more than 150m wide and has about a dozen small old quarries along its length. Since last year’s event more clearing has been done by the Chiltern Society volunteers and much of the wood now allows good runnable routes but retains the small complex area in the southern part.
